The origins of Legacy Agency Inc. dates back to 1984 when a few former colleagues now operating their own Independent Insurance Agencies joined together for the sole purpose of serving the personal and business insurance needs of Western New York in a professional and compassionate manner.
This original purpose and new business model were quickly embraced by our clients and insurance company partners, which lead to the addition of a fifth agency partner in May of 1988.
Expansion and growth continued and culminated with the formation of our current brand. Legacy Agency, Inc. replacing our prior operation on October 8, 2002.
Today Legacy Agency, Inc. has grown into an operation with 14 agency partners spread throughout WNY representing more than 20 property & casualty insurance company providers while still operating as our founders envisioned.
